When you make a purchase from Big John’s Angling, you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions of Sale. (Your statutory customer rights are not affected)

“Big John’s Angling” is the trading name for “Big John’s Angling Direct Limited”

DELIVERY/COSTS:

All delivery dates are given in good faith but are subject to all matters beyond the control of the Company: including acts of God, strikes, lockouts and delay by suppliers.

We aim to despatch all orders placed before 10am on the same day. (Monday – Friday)

We aim to despatch all orders placed after 10am or over the weekend the following working day.

Where delivery cannot be made within the target time, you will be contacted as soon as possible and made aware of any delays.

If the item ordered is not in stock, we will advice you of delays at the earliest opportunity possible via Email and/or phone.

Larger items will be charged £7.95 carriage and will be sent via a 24-48 hour delivery service, which is fully trackable from the time it leaves us, to the time it arrives with the customer.

Smaller items will be charged £2.95 carriage and will be sent via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery.

ALL prices shown include VAT at 17.50%

PAYMENT:

Credit/debit card payments are processed through PAYPAL (you do not need to have an account with PAYPAL to make a card payment). 

We accept Maestro, MasterCard, Solo, Visa, Visa Electron, Switch and PayPal. 

All customer card details are erased after order delivery.

No customer payment details are sent out in your package.

10 DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE :

You have a full 10 days to get 100% of your money back if you are dissatisfied in any way.

All returned goods must have a receipt or proof of purchase enclosed.

Returned goods must be unused, in the original packaging and in a saleable condition. Any packaging i.e. reel boxes must also be in the same condition as when received.

Items must be returned within 10 calendar days of despatch.

Items received back in our Shop after 10 days from the date of despatch will not be considered for a refund. 

It is the customer’s responsibility to cover the cost of return to us and make sure that it is well packaged.

We recommend that you use recorded or special delivery as we can not be liable for any loss or damage in transit.

We can collect goods from you if requested. The charge for this service (mainland UK only) is £14.50.

All refunds will have the postage costs deducted.

If you return goods because they were ordered incorrectly or if clothing does not fit you will pay the return postage costs. 

If you would like us to replace the goods with another size or colour, we will charge carriage on the replacement.

We aim to process refunds within 30 days of receiving the goods. 

Failure to return the goods using the above conditions could result in the failure to receive a full or partial refund; our decision in these matters is always fair and final.

These terms do not affect your statutory rights.

DAMAGED / FAULTY GOODS:

Any faulty goods will be exchanged/replaced upon satisfactory inspection.

All items used and found to be faulty will be inspected and if a satisfactory outcome between Big John’s Angling and the buyer is not achieved the goods will be returned to the manufacturer for further inspection.

Should this inspection prove to be the result of customer misuse then a service charge will apply.

WE WILL NOT REFUND: 

1) Items returned longer than 10 Calendar days from date of despatch.

2) Items that are dirty, washed, torn or soiled in any way.

3) Items returned without COMPLETE Packaging (this includes instructions, guarantees, labels, tags etc).

4) Items returned in a Non Resalable condition.

5) Postage Fees. (This includes deliveries that the customer deems ‘too late’ and are therefore refused by the customer).

6) Perishable goods (Bait being the prime example)  

7) Products without a receipt or proof of purchase

ERRORS:

Big John’s Angling reserves the right not to send goods priced incorrectly online. Every effort has been made to ensure that descriptions, images and price shown on the website are correct. As we develop our website there may be occasions where prices are inaccurate. Our aim of course is to ensure pricing is correct, if you have a query please contact us before ordering. In the event of an order being placed with incorrect prices we will contact to advise.
